LISBON — Nathan Shultz, 29, Park Court, Columbiana, was served recently with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for possession of fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. The possession allegedly occurred on Oct. 21, 2021.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Jason Hobbs, 45, Chester, W.Va., pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, and aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, with sentencing set for Dec. 12.

An additional felony charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs will be dismissed. Hobbs possessed methamphetamine on Feb. 28, 2021 and July 6, 2022.

Joshua Tabler, 36, Malvern, was sentenced to 120 days in the county jail, with credit for 105 days served, leaving 15 days to serve in jail, after his probation was dishonorably terminated for violations. The charges against Tabler included a fourth-degree felony trespassing in a habitation and misdemeanor domestic violence for trespassing in a Minerva residence and threatening to cause or causing physical harm to a woman on June 9, 2019.

Amanda Heverly, 48, Cleveland Street, Salem, had her intervention plan for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, dishonorably terminated for violating the terms. The charge involved possession of methamphetamine on Oct. 27, 2019.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Andrew Diegelman, 41, Kennerdell, Pa., was bound over to the Columbiana County Grand Jury on charges of third-degree felony engaging in prostitution, attempted and possessing criminal tools. Diegelman allegedly used his cell phone to arrange for sexual activity with an undercover agent posing as an adult female and 15-year-year female in exchange for $220 and arriving in East Palestine for the meeting Sept. 16.

A case against Jon Erik Huff, 36, Youngstown, was bound over to the county grand jury on charges of third-degree felony compelling prostitution and fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools and a misdemeanor of engaging in prostitution for allegedly answering an undercover ad placed on a known prostitution website by police, making arrangements to have sexual conduct with an adult female and watch activities between the adult female and a juvenile female in exchange for money. He drove to East Palestine on Sept. 21 for the meeting.

A case against Alexis Nicole Harrison, 29, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, was bound over to the county grand jury on a second-degree felony charge of burglary and misdemeanors of possessing drug abuse and criminal trespass. Police were called to Fisher Avenue, East Liverpool on Sept. 17 for a female climbing into the residence through a window and found Harrison in a separate detached building where she was on the phone with her mother, the property owner, saying she would return the bag and leave. She handed police a Louis Vuitton bag and allegedly admitted taking it from the residence. Police learned she did not have access to the property or permission to enter. Police also found drugs and drug abuse instruments in the detached building. The criminal trespass charge stemmed from Harrison being at Walmart on Sept. 9 after previously being criminally trespassed from the store.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 3 for Robert Mercer, 29, Ottawa Trail, Negley, charged with misdemeanors of menacing and domestic violence and a second-degree felony of felonious assault for allegedly shoving a woman and grabbing a man by the throat until he was unconscious during a domestic Sept. 10 in East Liverpool and making threats via text and email to a woman on Sept. 14 in St. Clair Township.

Jenna Speziale, 32, Howell Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence, and was buying out 20 hours of community service. Speziale shoved her live-in boyfriend several times in front of a juvenile on May 10 in East Palestine while allegedly drunk and throwing things.

Brandon Myers, 48, Third Street, Wellsville, who was charged as a fugitive from justice during a traffic stop on Sept. 23 in St. Clair Township, waived extradition to be sent to West Virginia to face charges of delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine, two counts.

Cody Hostetter, 21, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, was fined $150 for obstructing official business for failing to follow commands while a search warrant was being conducted at a Salem residence on Sept. 20, running into the front of the house away from officers who identified themselves.

A pretrial was set Oct. 27 for Nicholas Oates, 28, Irondale, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly trespassing in a home on Lisbon Street, East Liverpool on Sept. 25 after being told to stay away.

A pretrial was set Nov. 10 for Mary Riggs, 31, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with six counts of failure to file income tax for allegedly failing to file city income tax returns in East Liverpool from 2016 through 2021.

Michael Souers Jr., 35, last known address Vine Street, Salem, was sentenced to 15 days in jail, with credit for two days served, for disorderly conduct for being intoxicated and loud in downtown Salem on Sept. 24, screaming profanities and yelling, running up and down sidewalks with no shirt on and trying to fight his reflection in the window of a closed business.

A pretrial was set Nov. 17 for Bradley Soliday, 36, Washington Street, Minerva, charged with possessing drug abuse instruments for allegedly possessing a syringe used for drugs in his front left pocket and a small clear vile with suspected crystal meth inside on Sept. 25 on U.S. Route 30, East Rochester.

Sentencing was set Oct. 11 for Carol Jackson, 56, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, who pleaded guilty to illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. She was accused of possessing a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine, a snorting straw, razor blade and many folds of paper containing powder substances in her purse during a traffic stop Sept. 23 in Columbiana.

A pretrial was set Nov. 8 for Steven Lee Chamberlain, 55, state Route 164, Lisbon, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs second offense and OVI breath second offense.

A pretrial was set Nov. 10 for Timothy Thrasher, 26, Lincoln Avenue, Wellsville, charged with OVI second offense, and left of center.

A pretrial was set Nov. 17 for Donald Klink, 42, Beaver Falls, Pa., charged with OVI second offense, OVI breath, driving under suspension and left of center.

Sentencing was set Oct. 11 for Caleb Reynolds, 18, Adams Road, East Palestine, who pleaded no contest and was found guilty of OVI first offense, OVI breath and failure to control.

Russell Kohser, 45, Monaca, Pa., was fined $100 for speeding with charges of driving under suspension, unauthorized plates and expired registration dismissed.

Dylan Walsh, 21, LaCroft Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Tonya Bebout, 46, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Jessica Cross, 41, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set Nov. 7 for Amber Nguyen, 38, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, charged with use of unauthorized plate and driving under suspension.
